As leaders, we need to support our volunteers. But what does providing support really mean? Are you doing a good job of providing support, or are you providing something else without realizing it? Let’s

When we provide support, we ensure they have the help they need. We ensure that they aren’t overwhelmed with their workload.

When we provide support, we do more than communicate information.  We keep them from stumbling whenever possible. We pick them up if they fall.

When we provide support, we need to provide more than a plan. They need us to listen and understand. They need us to remember that life happens.

When we provide support, we they need to know that they have a chance to succeed. We need to know that reaching our milestones is possible only if they believe they are possible.
