Taking a Sabbatical

Submitted by James Higginbotham on July 15, 2010 – 1:38 pm3 Comments

After much prayer and consideration, I have decided that it is time to put Volunteer Centered on hold for a bit and take a break. I have been writing for 5 years and have said about all I have to say right now. Please feel free to use this site for research and learning by taking advantage of past articles, searching the archives, and reading the free ebooks that we have made available.

I want to thank each of you for your readership and for forwarding these articles to other leaders. I hope to be back soon with more articles, so feel free to stay subscribed.

James, thanks for your encouragement, great ideas and persistence over the years on this excellent blog! Enjoy a good rest, and when you feel like the Lord has got more for you to say, jump on back in. (Yay for RSS which means we won’t miss when that happens!)

    God bless,
    Larry

  • A wise choice my friend. I’m not sure when I will go back to writing but I don’t think it will be soon. Thank you for always reading my mind. :)
