Become Your Own Customer
I’ve been noticing recently that many folks don’t monitor or manage their own RSS feeds, and don’t know when they are broken or don’t appear correctly. What that means is that they are not seeing what the user sees, and in doing so they are becoming blind to what their end users really experience. As an example, I subscribe to my own feed using an RSS reader and the email subscription option, to make sure that everything comes through fine on both distribution channels.
Whether this is with your product, your service, your blog, your church ministry, or your home, you should be taking the time to look at what other people are seeing. Sometimes it can be beneficial to your target audience for you to be your own audience member.

Great advise. I too subscribed to my own blog feed for the same reason. I hope my blog and my eNews comes across well to my customers.
