Two Comes After One

Submitted by James Higginbotham on December 9, 2008 – 5:38 amNo Comment

I was recently reading a book that summarized much of what I write about on this blog. I wish I had thought about it this way! Here is a paraphrase:

No one in the church should do two tasks until everyone is doing one task.

I couldn’t have said it better myself!

How are you enabling your leaders, dedicated volunteers, and one-time volunteers take some of the load? The problem is most likely not with them stepping up. Most likely, the need is for staff and lay leaders to make things easy and inviting for others to join in.

How are you making it easy and inviting for others to join in the vision of the church today?
