Dealing with Anger Toward God

Rindy Walton has a great post on being angry at God and how to deal with it in a healthy way:

For the past couple of days I’ve been mad. I guess you could say it was a bit beyond mad—I was angry! I wanted to strike back, I wanted to yell, and I wanted to hit something (don’t worry, I didn’t!!). I was angry because it’s simply not fair!

I could pretend it doesn’t bother me. I could act like all is ok. But it’s not! Don’t tell me I will grow from the experiences. Don’t tell me I should rejoice in troubles and trials. Don’t tell me it’s a privilege to “suffer”. I want it to be easy for once!

I was angry with God. Really angry.
