About Me

James Higginbotham is a leadership coach for Calvary Chapel of Austin and the editor of VolunteerCentered.com. He has published several books, including a free book on Recruiting Volunteers. He has been writing and coaching leaders for years, combining his experience volunteering and business leadership to create a practical, people-centered approach to volunteer leadership.

James owns his own business, Blue Jazz, which provides consulting and advice for small business and startups. He is also the founder of Church Director, an online volunteer scheduling tool.

James resides in Austin, TX with his wife and two children.
