Would You Join Your Team?

Submitted by James Higginbotham on January 27, 2010 – 4:06 amNo Comment

A simple question to ask yourself that will get you to think:

If you were just an average member of your church and you ran across your team, would you join?

If your answer is yes, ask why. Then ask several of your team members. Then ask some anonymous people based on how you explain your team and vision. Do they agree?

If your answer is no, ask why not. Dig deeper and determine where your leadership is lacking and what needs to be done. It could be a simple issue of how you manage your people. Or, it might be a deeper issue about how you approach the leadership role you have with your team.

Either way, this should be an interesting exercise.
