Lifting Leaders

Submitted by James Higginbotham on July 21, 2009 – 4:36 amNo Comment

When was the last time you helped out a leader? You have probably been there yourself. You were struggling to get a handle on your leadership. You felt like things never went your way. Perhaps you had a bad month because you lost a couple of key volunteers.

Every leader goes through a tough time. Sometimes things don’t go how we expected.

The difference between good leaders and great leaders it that great leaders learn and grow during these times.

Great leaders that emerge by themselves are rare. Good leaders can often become great leaders because of you. Your encouraging words, your little bit of help, your prayers all contribute.

Take the time to lift up other leaders around you. Turn good leaders into great leaders. And let those great leaders in turn grow the next generation of leaders from good to great.
