Leading is an Obligation

Submitted by James Higginbotham on November 12, 2008 – 5:10 amNo Comment

According to Global Rich List, if you make at least $48,000 USD a year, you are in the top 1% of the world’s richest people. It may not feel like it, but you are. Every day, we all make decisions on how we spend top 1% of the world’s wealth.

Of course, having more money than 99% of the world doesn’t qualify us as a leader. But it should encourage us to become one. It should drive us to be better leaders than we are. It should drive us to invest in others with our time and talent. To give back to the 99% of the world.

When you look at it this way, leadership isn’t an option. Leadership is an obligation.
