Lead By Removing Frustration

Submitted by James Higginbotham on October 20, 2008 – 5:36 amNo Comment

Being a blog reader can be a frustrating experience. My favorite blogs can say exactly what I’m thinking or what I haven’t been able to put into words. Or they can make me mad because I disagree with them. My least favorites blogs just frustrate me. They fall short, missing the point. Other times, they just say what everyone else is saying, often quoting them word-for-word without any thought or context. They don’t inspire, they just go along with the masses. BTW, when was the last time you were inspired by what the masses were doing?

So, what does it take to prevent this frustration? Leadership. Leaders are the ones that take away the frustration by driving away the normal. They make you think, give you vision, and drive you forward.

Leaders are the ones that can take the same thing everything is saying and say it in a way that inspires action.

If you are a leader, make sure that you are finding God’s divine vision in your life and putting it into action. While you are doing that, be sure to bring some others along for the ride. You’ll remove their frustration and inspire them to think, act, and inspire others at the same time.

If you aren’t a leader, consider stepping up and becoming one. You don’t need the title, you just need a God-given vision and the willingness to act.

Oh, and what happens if a blog frustrates me long enough? I stop paying attention to them.
