Ministry Agendas

Submitted by James Higginbotham on September 2, 2008 – 5:17 amNo Comment

What is your ministry agenda? It is a simple question but can reveal lots about where your ministry is headed.

Church ministry is about love, without agenda. It means giving time and hard work to love others more than yourself. I think it is important to remember this, as our week-to-week lifestyle of church ministry can make us forget this simple thing.

I think now is the time to ask yourself these three questions:

  1. Are you giving everything you have for God and for others, above yourself?
  2. Are you willing to sacrifice worldly success to do it?
  3. What is your true agenda with the team you lead every week?

How is your agenda after these three questions? Be honest. Are you on track or has your agenda lost focus?

Are you read to ask God to help you to give more to Him today than you did yesterday, even if it means giving up something personal?
