The Constraints of Time

Submitted by James Higginbotham on July 22, 2008 – 5:00 amNo Comment

Time is the most valuable thing that you have – you can’t make more of it and it keeps moving even when you are not. What people don’t realize is that time constraints can be our biggest ally, rather than our worst enemy. Consider:

  1. Time forces us to be the best we can be in the time we have
  2. Time focuses us so that we can realize our true priorities
  3. Time provides us with experience of the past and opportunity of the future
  4. Time causes us to realize how short our life, and the lives of others, really is
  5. Time enables us to depend upon God to get things done and grow closer to Him

So, the next time you find yourself constrained by time, consider it as an opportunity for God to grow you and your ministry beyond your expectations.
