When you assume…

Submitted by James Higginbotham on July 30, 2007 – 8:41 pmNo Comment

When you assume that your volunteers want to serve every week, they will burn out.
When you assume that your volunteers will tell you when something is wrong, they won’t.
When you assume that your volunteers will never leave, they will.

Don’t assume. Make time to open the communication lines to your team. Give them some time off by recruiting new volunteers to help them out. They’ll thank you for it, even if they didn’t realize they needed the help.
