Volunteer Management

Submitted by James Higginbotham on January 8, 2006 – 9:30 pmNo Comment

I spent the last couple of weeks covering the topic of volunteer management. I captured most of the patterns related to the lifecycle of volunteers: recruiting, selecting, managing, and dismissal. If you have any other ideas, drop me an email or post a comment.

Many of you have expressed other ideas or questions related to ministry management, specifically technology ministries such as IT and Web. I have a few ideas queued up, but go ahead and let me know what you’d like to hear about the topic of ministry management as well and I’ll put those thoughts together in the near future.

Thanks to all that have provided feedback via email and comments – I have enjoyed our discussions and I pray you have been richly blessed by the lessons I’ve learned so far.
